- Eco4Cloud at Ambrosetti’s Technology Forum
How does European Union support innovation and R&D? How much is efficient Horizon 2020 and how it could help small and medium enterprises to innovate? The Technology Forum Preview will give the floor exactly to them, the Italian entrepreneurs who are now financing research and innovation through Horizon 2020: to tell how it really works.
This is the aim of “Ambrosetti’s Technology Forum”, an important debate included in the annual activities of the community InnoTech Ambrosetti Club that will be held on Friday March 11th at CastelBrando (Treviso). With the entrepreneurs, it will also involve the top management of SME Instrument from the European Commission and it will deepen three crucial aspects for succeeding with Horizon 2020: Open Innovation, the ABC of Horizon 2020 and the fundamental bet on new frontier’s technology.
Raffaele Giordanelli, Eco4Cloud CEO and CTO, will explain how Horizon2020 supported Eco4Cloud on developing new products and software solutions to maximize IT performances, save resources and reduce costs. Also participating in this important debate are Alberto Baban, President of Small Industry, Confindustria, Antonio Carbone, National Contact Point for Horizon2020, OPENS, Alberto Di Minin, Professor of Strategy, Institute of Management – SSSA, Marco Malacarne, Head of Operations, European Agency for SMEs – European Commission, Francesco Orioli, Director, Soltigua, Luke Rossettini, CEO, D-Orbit and Arianna Trettel, Director, BrainSigns.
ABOUT AMBROSETTI TECHNOLOGY FORUM: The Technology Forum is designed to provide stimuli to re-launch economic growth and innovation in Italy. It is the key event in the dialogue among a specific community within the Ambrosetti Club, that brings together top leaders belonging to the four key players of successful innovations: Research, Business, Finance and Institutions.
Given the major impact of scientific and technological developments on the economy and competitiveness, the Forum represents a valuable opportunity to share best practices, make proposals to the policy makers and meet influential personalities from around the world. The Forum is conceived to be highly interactive and to provide wide room for dialogue and for networking, even outside the conference schedule: “Let’s network” break, cocktail and dinner on Friday; small-group breakfast meetings with a number of key Forum speakers on Saturday. Many opportunities to discuss hot topics and strengthen relationships. A two-days full immersion gathering to promote innovation as ‘the’ driver for growth. The international appointment for innovators, every year at the end of May.
