Domenico Moretti

Board Chairman

He began his career at Siemens, where he assumed various roles. After 10 years has left the German multinational to found the MI Cube, a software company focused on electronic document management. In 2000 he joined the Board of Directors of Eweb Italy, Internet startups created to launch Spesanet project, the first online shopping service at home. In 2002 he founded Ipurangi, a company specializing in System Integrations and developing e-business solutions, where he was appointed Chief Executive Officer. In 2006, with a pool of members coming from strategic sectors and with the experience gained within the Information and Communication Technology he founded Keitai. Is an expert in “New Media” and has developed strong skills in the world of ‘ digital publishing and editorial marketing.

Raffaele Giordanelli

Co-founder, CEO and CTO

Raffaele Giordanelli  was one of the Eco4Cloud’s founders and he managed the first growth of the company, working in particular on prototyping business solutions, raising capitals (DPixel, Principia II and Tim Ventures invested in Eco4Cloud) and securing important clients.
Researcher at the Institute of High Performance Computing and Networking of the Italian National Research Council (ICAR-CNR). His research interests include grid and cloud computing, P2P networks and bio-inspired computing. After his first publications, he grew passionate about startups, and he is well-known into the italian startup community.

Carlo Mastroianni 

Co-founder and Chief Scientist

Computer Engineer, Researcher at the Institute of High Performance Computing and Networking of the Italian National Research Council, ICAR-CNR, Cosenza, Italy. Previously, he worked at the Computer Department of the Italian Prime Minister Office. Internationally renowned research activity on Cloud and Grid computing, nature-inspired algorithms, multi-agent systems. Articles on some of the most prestigious journals, e.g. IEEE/ACM Transactions on Networking, IEEE Transactions on Evolutionary Computation, ACM Transactions on Autonomous and Adaptive Systems. Best Paper Awards at European Grid Conference 2005 and CCGrid 2009 (Symposium on Cluster, Cloud and Grid Computing).

 

Alessandro Damiano 

Advisor

Before joining Principia, Alessandro Damiano has been for about three years in the UBI Bank, where he managed and coordinated optimization of the investment portfolio, sale and acquisition of assets and the creation of strategic joint ventures.
He worked for ten years at Medinvest, financial boutique specializing in corporate finance transactions. He is a qualified accountant and auditor.
